Review: Brad Copeland at TiL (March 3rd) (pg. 2)

Tunes were great but it wasn't anything extraordinary. I'd give Brad's set an 8/10. How I missed Gearbox is beyond me... :conf:
Crowd though, left something to be desired for. There were a few good-looking girls but besides that, it was like...all guys.
Overall, I still had a good time, but there was something missing. |

Ok, maybe that was a bit harsh. He did a good job with his set, but I just wasn't feeling it. What I like in a set is for it to "go somewhere", but I just didn't feel like that was what he was doing. A lot of other people enjoyed the party, so he must have done something right. |

I think I know what you mean, he didn't really "epic anthem-it" out in the end. Fair comment.
No one has mentioned his consistency technically either, poor bastard was perfect for 7 hours. lol |

I think I pointed that out to Ray mid-way through the night too. Spot on almost everytime. I have the Muscle Cars track stuck in my head. Pleasntly surprised (not that I was expecting bad) last night, had a great time, loved all the big bass too, ^5 to Brad. |
