I swear the 2000 remake is unremixable... its TO perfect.

Anyways I will review your track soon.

You have really picked a hard track to remix.
Not that doing a remix is hard but you have taken on the task of improving on perfection.

Your synths are nice and your lead sound is pretty faithfull to mikes 2000 remake. I also liked the bass sound you used at the beginning.

The thing that really lets the track down for me is the percussion. That 'slappy fish on kitched table' kick thing just wrecks the whole track for me.

One of the really nice things about the original is the space and freedom that the track gives, but I felt it was strangled by the unrelenting kick sound all the way through.

Don't get me wrong, I think you have some pretty good skills and it's overall a brave attempt at a trance anthem.

Keep it up.

I agree with the above,

The kick is terrible. But the rest of the tune is nice, and some of your expansions on the original are cool I like them alot. your arrangement is spot on, maybe work at your percussion and come back in a little while to this.

Overall, bloody good effort 7/10.

Heard it, but to be honest it's not worth the vinyl it's pressed on if you ask me. Total waste of time and effort. Got it as a promo but to be honest never felt inclined to play it out.

Frankly speaking, I actually prefer the synth work in yours to the 2006 12". :)

Cheers
