Kyau vs. Albert: Easily one of the best sets I have heard the last ten years (yes, I am that old)...
Pulser: It would have been very difficult for any DJ to continue after Kyau vs. Albert's impeccable set but Pulser easily lived up to expectations!

i watched about 10 minutes of k vs. a then i headed upstairs where this d00d was spinning some crazy electro house. yes! i had a good time and it was nice meeting hula hoop girl (thnx for the little show)

I didn't make it to Armin the last time he was at Spundae but I'll guarantee last night topped it! It's simple..Kyau vs. Albert ing ripped it up last night! I got there super super early to ensure list entry. In fact, I got there so early the list tables weren't even set up yet. :stongue:
We hung around in the back room with Thee-o until about 945 and I was enjoying his set. After Thee-o we went to the main room and caught most of DJ Cody Lee's set. I absolutely loved his set, it was some deep hard hitting and he was on top of his mixes. Right when Cody was getting off and Kristina was setting up I walked up to Kristina and got the VIP wristbands that I missed at the beginning of the night. She was very cool about it and great set you threw down for your Bday Kristina!
When K vs. A came on it was hard to walk away from the floor but I found myself upstairs on and off getting the drinks and when I went up I couldn't really just step away, there was definately some dirty house and electro up there and it rocked.
Every room was hoppin last night and all the music was great...one of the best nights I've had in a while!

I cannot really find the words to describe last night... amazing is an understatement.
The vibe, the people, the music, everything was on point. I was so glad to see so many of you out there. I appreciate it more than you know!
I can honestly say it was the best birthday I have had in years, and its HUGE THANKS to Spundae for all the support they give me, thanks to the guys (Pulser and KvA) for coming out to play, and last but not least, to all the amazing people like YOU that support it and make it possible to continue.
With that said, I would like to invite those of you who came out to support last night, or those who maybe could not make it.. OR even for those of you that went to FERRY instead... :( ;) to my invite-only birthday party tonight.

Wish I could make it tonight too, but there's werk, paychecks and all that stuff that I just can't seem to live without... Anyway, Saturday night, where do I start?? What a phenomenal night, I was amazed how packed the room was when Kristina got behind the decks (well, actually she was behind the decks almost the entire night, so guess I mean spinning behind the decks)!
During Kristina's birthday set, I looked to the left of the stage and there's Kyau vs. Albert standing there listening to Kristina's set and chatting with everyone! They seemed really down to earth and nice to be around.
I agree that K vs A was one of the best sets I've seen at Spundae. I saw them before at the Love Parade in SF last September, but this night was really special. The energy in the room could have lit up the whole city of LA for weeks, and the crowd felt it, the DJ's felt it, just seemed to keep getting stronger the whole night! Marco V "False Light" and K vs A "Made of Sun" really went off during their set.
Funny how I don't think I ever saw anyone up in the VIP room, was obvious to me that the VIP room was behind the decks though! ;) I think it was K vs A who played Kristina's new track, not even finished yet, and they kept pointing to her with big smiles. Pulser's set was really good too, but the crowd got much smaller after 3, I suspect due to mass migration over to see Ferry at Avalon. Last coupla of songs by Pulser included his stellar track "My Religion," and then lights on. I'll remember this night for a really long time, Happy Birthday again Kristina! :D
