hey guys :) i'm back with a new track
this one is in the same vein as my previous track, i.e. funky groove + epic strings. i kept this one much simpeler, though..
if you haven't heard the original, check out the media section @ mike.be

hey kevin,
the first thing i noticed, that some sidechain would sound awesome on that dirty bassline i think!:)
good kick, percussion work is cool, strings are very cool also
at 4:18 i expected a more dramatic part maybe;)
some more variatons with that metallic synth would be nice i think, nice vocals:)
overall good work mate,
you should move to reason 3 i think, im sure you could produce even better tracks with it! :whip:
keep it up, mate!
cheers,

sup tor, long time. I like this remix, it's different, the buildup is like that Lange vs Emery Track "Three". Keep it up dude, and move to reason.

Hey TOR
I listened to this track today, I found the bassline strange at first, but when you brought the other elements in it sounded great. The strings in the breakdown are excellent, and a nice melody too. Overall a nice funky track that's a bit different. |

Hey TOR,
This is quite a different track , funky indeed. Breakdown is a tad too long especially considering you do not introduce a lot of extra sounds and layers. and after the breakdown it sounds like you start the track all over again, that could have been done differently, you lose a lot of the energy there.
Still I like a lot of elements. It is funky, a lot different than we usually here and your approach of structuring this song is not very typical. I did dig the bassline right from the start by the way :) It is more a clubby bassline.
Cheers!

listening:
woot, nice bass and kick right away.. nice percussions..
1:17  damn what a cool sound
1:45 liking more of whats introduced..
3:00 liking every thing so far..
huge strings.. strings are suddenly stopped, a kick and percussions are introduced.. (nice surprice in the arrangement)
5:25 some bass changes and some melodic interpretations coming on.. (mixed feelings) huge strings coming back again..
6:25 I like the idea of you suddenly stepping back to bass and percussions after those strings.. but i feel u could have added some more to the percs at this point.. making the worth waiting for..
havent heard the original..
but VERY nice work :) |

Cool!
I like how you've managed to meld techno-ish funk with a dreamy starry escapade. It somehow worked for me... even if the transitions left something to be desired (the arrangement was difficult for me to capture).
It was unique... it was robo-tech. The breakdown was unbelievable! |
