Help getting back and forth from L.A. to Vegas

I know I posted in here a week or so ago, but I'm still contemplating coming out from Jersey to see Johan Gielen in Vegas on 3/31 and then while I'm on the west coast, in L.A. the next night.
What I was wondering, and I've been looking online, but have trouble, maybe someone more local could help me... Is what's the best and most cost efficient way to get from Vegas to L.A. and about how long of a trip is it?
I'm not sure about airfare, but I figure I could fly into Vegas, and then fly back home from LAX. I'm just wondering how to get from Vegas to L.A.
This is a totally last minute trip, and most of my travel money got spent going to Trance Energy last month (mwauahahha!)

4 ways to get from Vegas to LA....
1.- Plane (Southwest, etc.)
2.- Bus [Greyhound $43, Amtrak Bus $38]
3.- Hitch a Ride
4.- Magically Teleport your self into LA! |

| If you use Jet Blue it's only $39 to get from Vegas to LA. Well, the flight actually lands in Long Beach but it's a 15 minute drive to LAX. |

Ah nice a bus for under $50 works great. Any idea how long of a ride it is, this way I can plan a time schedule.

but seriously you can catch a 45 minute flight from Vegas to the Burbank airport for well under 100$......thats what i would do |

If you drive 65 (no one does) from Vegas to LA it will take you a few hrs and I doubt taking the bus will speed things up.
The best way to do it is fly. There's always some special fares. |

| last couple of times i drove to vegas it was about a 4 hour drive from Orange County. It all depends when your on the road, driving out of vegas on a Sunday it could take as long as 8 hours, or driving out on a wednesday early in the morning means less than 4 hours. it's a 45 minute flight from McCarran to LAX. |
