do y'all know about any real raves? like middle of the forest crazy hardcore ? or how to find out about them?
i'm reminded of the movie groove, where there was just this email list and the people on it went to the event, but how do they even start?
or are they just crazy things that people say they've been to, but it's always just talk
i've never actually been to one, and would actually like to, seeing as how i've been branded a "raver" at school |

| i think the days of the warehouses and woods are over. unfortunately. they were fun, but the crackdown created way too much pressure. i havent heard or seen anything like back in the 90s. |

| Someone tried to pull one off in Lubbock back in 1998 or so and made the mistake of posting flyers with directions to the site all over the city. The cops were there waiting and shut it down before it could even start. I haven't seen/heard of any since, though I'm willing to bet they still happen in secluded spots that don't draw big names. |

| you know, they had one a few years ago in a field between college station and houston. a real big event. cops busted it and arrested a ton of people including the djs, attendees etc. it was huge though |

| these are very hard to find out about as they dont like to allow anyone in unless you have some sort of tyes to someone. they also require certain amounts of time of knowing and hanging out with some of the people. i know of one out here in cali that happens every full moon and they are hard to get into. i know 1 person that has an in on it but she is nuts. its called moontribe. you can find it online but doesnt really let you know how to get in contact with the people. they are very secretive. we didnt even know where the place was untill 2hrs before we left. and we HAD to use a land line to get the directions. they wouldnt talk to anyone but her and this place was 4hrs away. to be honest though it kinda sucked. wasnt that cool. the music wasnt bad but the vibe wasnt there. it was just like 150 people middle of nowhere and cold as . was also not very fun imho. but i guess to each his own. |
