i havent even started my new job and i was planning on taking a sickie
being the person i am, i just told him i had to take the friday off and he said ok, but no pay

My work was like that, but it was more if you didn't have any sick days left they would take off your annual leave (so u could get paid) if you had a certificate.

just got back from the Dr.
Im like need doctor's cert. for yesterday and today. He is like "so your not sick" > "nope" > prints the baby out, in there for 30sec

Who hasnt faked being sick at the doctors to get a certificate?
Ive only got a one hour lecture next Tuesday morning.....I so can already see that Im gunna be CBF going.

well, to be honest im not quite sure any more. they sounded a lil bit too bass-centric for me, but (again) i found it pretty hard to hear the mids & highs @ halo. but that could just be me. im going a tad deaf in my old age, and i was pretty wrecked by 4am ;) |

so, what are some great excuses that work most of time?
My fav is saying that I strained a back muscle while helping my mom/dad/brother/sister move house. I am physically unable to get out of bed and need to lie flat on my back all day
works like a charm.
ps. just remember to hold your lower back if you need to bend down the next time you're at work :p |
