This is true. It is really expensive place to go. I'd suggest taking at least 1200 dollars or risk ending up in a mess.
As for things to do, they have natural hot spas which is a place I'd love to visit. I Plan to do a cruise from the UK sometime in the next few years which doesn't take in iceland but does do norway sweden estonia russia & denmark. |

The clubscene here has been dead for quite some time now, it seems to be getting better now though (Marco Bailey was here this weekend, Timo Maas the weekend before and Goldie coming in next weekend). If you want to experience our wild nightlife I'd recomend coming here around the 12. of april as Deep Dish will be playing.
Even though the clubscene has been like it is people here get REALLY drunk every weekend. Instead of going to clubs, we go to partys or pubs.
If you like nature Iceland is a cool place. You don't have to go far from Reykjavík to see icelandic nature. You'll even see what foreigners descripe as 'mars/moon like atmosphere' on your way from the airport to Reykjavík.
