How to advertise my music in LA?

I moved down to LA from Seattle last year mainly to work on music production. I've taught myself a lot of the past six months and feel like I have around 5 tracks that are good enough to promote. They may not be perfect to the T, but are good enough to my satisfaction and to show others (and I've been working on music production for 6 years!)
I just haven't the foggiest clue as to who I show my music to! Are there any LA websites with companies that I can send demos to? Does anyone even promote trance/house/dance in LA? Should I buy a music company book from the bookstore? Any good advice? Are there any local dance labels in LA? |

| When at the clubs give it to the DJs and whatnot. Go to various labels that have a similar sound to your tracks. Thats pretty much it, just finding labels online and sending it however they want you to. Post in music producers promotion section of TA too. Good luck. |
