Cool track you has here, yeah the plucks are over used but who cares, they sound good. You still have your own style - and you can hear it in all your songs. I like the melody in this, not familiar with the original, but I enjoyed your remix. Only thing I didn't like was the bassline, could've maybe made a more standout-ish bassline. |

Hey!!
I havenīt heard the original...but your production is great imo, perfect mixing. Nothing much to say, all of the sounds work really well together and it has a really epic and uplifting feel. The strings bring a really calm side to the track which I like... !!! :)
Itīs a really positive track...The build up is massive!!!

Commenting as I listen:
First off, the rolling bassling, as usual, has perfect treble frequencies before you engaged the second motif. The kick and clap, however, didn't seem to contrast each other the best -- the kick was good, but the clap was a tad... overwashed.
The strings were fine... if they're overmetallic, it's because they are a tad too dry for square waves. I can't complain, it just makes the epic feel of the strings more "In your face" instead of off in some reverberaded saw waves marking the distant horizon.
The sonic textures were such that they were presented well, but nothing really carried itself above nominal levels. The atmosphere, the vibe, didn't sound forced, nor dreamy. Maybe it was the dryness of the elements, or the choice of elements, but I don't feel like the trance was exceptional.
Excellent presentation. However, I'm not so sure about the vibe. |

not bad, jon... but expected better from you!
the the release on the lead sounds too short, making it sound really choppy. the track in general sounds a bit "old." Could use some more layers in terms of both synthwork and percussion. |
