Yes they have split up...Different directions..
Andrea has gone a bit loopy...Going more in the direction of GOA trance lol...:( They were due down here for Trance nation next month but that was subsequently cancelled...
And the ed thing is they can't even play their own tracks haha...Being licensed to Vandit and all.... :|

Forum invasion to tell you what I know :D
Yes Nu NRG have split up. :(
Giuseppe is doing a fair whack of solo work. Linking People / Whitelady as most of you know are out on Vandit. Others are Clambake/Through your eyes and a few remixes. I dont have release infos for any of them. Gius also doing a few liveacts, dunno how much of his own stuff or NuNRG stuff he'll be playing though.
Andrea did a few solo productions, like Tek Lock, and an incredibly underrated track called New Atlantis. Neither are signed as far as I know, and I dont think he's producing anything else. But I could be wrong about that.
I dont know why they split up... genuinly have no idea, but I havent heard anything about a falling out, so I'd say its not bad blood between them anyway.
Thats all I know :( Im upset about all this too cos I'll never get to see the duo live now. :( |

hehe. whats great about that set is the advertising components were always played at a good part of the song, where it wasnt too intrusive. when i hear things like dreamland or moon loves the sun on vinyl i still sing the orgasmatron voice-over, haha.
when i first started going out i was convinced all these DJs playing bad trance (in reality it was house) were simply doing so coz they hadnt heard of nu-nrg or orgasmatron. haha, i was a cute newbie i was! :D |
