Hey mate,
Listened to your track. It is a bit hard to say what kind of direction you want to take the track. It more or less feels as 3 different parts. First you start the intro which lasts for 1 minute then a totally different kind of build up takes over which sounds thin (bass is nice but a bit heavy I think it even distorts a bit) because of the lack of good solid percussions and an engaging melodic atmosphere. Then when u reach a sort of break u take the track in a totally different direction with the leadmelody.
The track is rather messy because of the 3 different styles mate. You could perhaps focus on that lead u got going there, create a good break around that and then make a solid build up that fits the leadsection and breakdown. I always start working on a breakdown and leadsection, try to focus on getting a good hook. Once I have that it becomes a lot easier to take parts of that to create a build up and outro.

Hey dude,
I must say I concur pretty much with Nomen, the structure is a bit caothic, the b section sound smore like the a section, and viceversa LOL.
I must say I like the vibe, but it needs some good build up work, it sounds a bit empty also, looking forward to lsiten to the final evrsion :).

Cheers for the feedback. I kept changing it so it didnt sound repetitive. but ill have a look and see what i can do with it and concentrate on the main lead without the constant changes. lol.

Hey Barry, listening now :)
Nice acids at the start, though I think you should change that kick a bit, its a bit flat sounding.
Bassline is cool too, but you could fill the track up with pads and FX at this point too.
The arp is cool too, perhaps throw the bassline in at this point too.
I agree with menno + kopi, just take a look at the stucture of the track. But keep it up man :) |
