filthy? dirty? immoral? ahh yeah. wow. didn't even need to look or talk to anyone. just needed that system pounding out those beats and baselines. ouch. wow, that was an experience. good good times. made the drive from london. and it was worth. good party, good vibe, good venue and all that , but it was all about the music. some of those tracks were just killer. lots of oldies and goodies thrown in there. lots of dark dark evil tracks. and tons of their own that hasn't been produced anywhere yet. killah.

Exactly what I was thinking, everyone I know who went said it was an amazing party ... Can't believe it...
Last time they were at Kool Haus only a couple of hundred people showed up... Then at system their set was totally "eh"... The one time they really bang it out and I miss it!!! :whip:
Ah well, I'm betting Ferry Corsten will make me forget about it :D |

A day late on my review but i remember everything!! My 3rd time seeing Deep Dish and it was the best. Saeen & Palash started with some good , then deep dish came on and kept us moving all night ( We had the walls sweating so bad, it was almost raining in there!) Also a big fan of spin spin sugar!
Cant make it to Ferry C. :( but will be at System for Parks and Wilson......

| My third time for Deep Dish. I thought they started off great, but you know, that Progressive sound just puts me to sleep after three hours (or was it that mysterious smoke they kept blastin' in my face?). Anyway, S&P had a great set- second time seeing them (not disappointed).... I find that Progressive is something easier to "groove" to than to dance to. My bias I guess. Well, as far as Progressive goes, it was a fine set. |

Ok i guess i'm not completely justified in saying that i didn't think his set was that good. The reason being is that i only stayed for the first hour of it, and it was damn boring; i thought he was going to play harder; who knows maybe he did later on in the night...
But for a guy that had stiffed Toronto several times in the past, you'd expect for him to drop a bangin set right from the start... What didn't help was the fact that i watched him spend a lot of time talking to people in the dj booth (i was on the stage where u can look into the the booth from the side), and he didn't look that enthusiastic about the whole thing anyway....
Well if he did play well after i left, well i guess i missed out!!!
But i'm going to miss him again this time around also.... |
