I'm not gonna go to hard on anybody here because I have no hostility towards anyone...even tiesto. I mean, he used to be sick, back when i first saw him in 2001, wow, i was blown away. But I have to say that his sound has gone totally comercial. Anywho, i just posted b/c I think its funny that you contradict yourself, which might show something about your character. In this quote you explain that no dj can be your fav for life, yet your user name is Tiesto4life. Whats with that mang?

if you can get past the fact that z103 advertised it and all the ginos from wopbridge show up, his last couple shows were GREAT and you are f00ked if you think otherwise. Great track selections and quality mixing.
who knows when he will be back. (he was just in montreal a while back). Hes been resting lately from what ive read. so who knows.
However there is LOTS of other talent you SHOULD be checking out. |

Actaully you will see me at the next tiesto event! Sure im not a big fan of him anymore. But his events are still fun!
In fact he was the frist Trance DJ I ever went to go see.
This of course was before I cared about the quality of clubs and what sorta crowd it was.. and before the use of... "vitamins".
It was just about an amazing DJ who I thought was God, and about amazing music which I love beyond belief. So the entire event for me was just pure Magik!
I actaully do kinda hope to see tiesto back in T.O. soon. And when he gets here.. whether you hate him or love him.. I know i'll still be seeing you all there! :D |

| If I recall correctly I enjoyed Tiesto's set last time arround. What I didn't enjoy was the crowd. Given that I would expect the same crowd to be at the next show it is a certainty that I will not. Especially given the admission prices that generally accompany Tiesto events. Truth is he's not good enough for me to tolerate the increased cover and idiotic drunken Ginos. |

same here. the second last time he was here (i think it was december) was his best. i heard the last time (which was in the summerish time) sucked.
imo, he shouldn't of went to z103. that was a bad move.
bring pvd, carl cox, or avb and i'll be there no problem.

Then you have teh ghey losers at the Infected Mushroom events where they're all just bouncing around into one another, pushing and shoving, and throwing that damn flag in my face.
IMO, Tiesto parties are still fun, even though he may not be the best DJ in the world. On that note, no idea when he'll be here. |

the thing about tiesto parties now is that all the 15 year olds want to go see him and i think that would ruin the event. |

is my nickname tiesto#1djforlife??? I thought so. Tiesto4Life is simply b/c he's the man who's responsible for bringing me into this scene. I used to listen to PVD/Oakey/pete tong/tony de vit but that was in the years i didn't really understand underground music. Tiesto's music made me go above and beyond my expecations for trance. Now if you don't see how my nick has nothing to do with what you were saying, then perhaps you should read it over and over again. Music style/choice changes over time, hence your DJ will also change. And just for the record, Tiesto has been my # 1 for 4 years now and I can always take his In My Memory cd and appreciate what he has done for trance around the world.

i see what you're saying. ya, toronto has never been the party for Tiesto. Last 3 times he was here, mediocre. However when you see him at other places around the world, that's where he turns it up a notch. Montreal was blowing away! I really hope to see him with PVD @ Amnesia this year, or any time @ Ibiza. A lot of Dj's are like that, they spin consistantly better and with more emotion in one city but not the other. I perfectly understand that. |

hahaha funny we were just talking about this in NYC this past wknd...and Pett brought up a very good point...TIESTO is no good in North America, including Canada!! TIESTO IN EUROPE wow now that is a party every Tiesto fan must attend at least once :D check out some of his European sets vs. his N.American ones!
I'll be doing that this summer...He is scheduled only ONCE in Ibiza this summer during the massive Radio 1 weekend on August 12th.
His Toronto party this year....I'll be there too :D:D:D |
