Techno recommendations??

I know all about techno but want to educate myself on it. I'm coming from a psytrance background so delight in twisted fx and experimental sonic mayhem.
I know a lot of techno is dirty and rough, which is cool but I'm looking more for a tight mechanical type of sound with lots of cold atmospheric detail and an epic feel. More of a new futuristic sound rather than the oldschool sort of techno. I've heard it here and there, but need names of producers.
Any recommendations along these lines would be much appreciated. |

Hard to tell what you mean exactly, but I'll give it a (short) shot.

Dutch female techno producer, bordering on tech-house sometimes, quite melodic as well. If you like it, you might check out some stuff by

Thanks basd. I much preferred the Oscar Mulero sample I must say. I guess I'm after the harder side of techno. Any more recommendations along those lines? I'll check out the other two when I get a chance.
One act that I found very much to my tastes was System 7/ A-wave. Infact, its the onyl real techno I've seen live so far. I really like the very synthetic sound they have and the cold detatched feel to a lot of their tracks. Guess that describes a lot of techno though... hmm.

No. Not even close.
Check out:
Takaaki Itoh, though lots of his stuff sound the same, it has sort of an industrial, cold feeling to it

| I've always wanted to get some techno but ive never ventured too far, ive always loved picotto and ferri's stuff...TORMENTED!!! :eyes: I cant get this on vinyl though. :( |

Moshic might be tribal-ish sounding, but he's far from techno.
And lol @ Yoji Biomehanika. He's not even close to being in the same ballpark as techno. |

I know he doesn't play techno. He's kinda tribal progressive house.
And he owns too.
Yoji Biomehanika plays hardtrance and hardstyle (mostly hardtrance really). |

Yep, and I'd reccommend techno if I actually new two about it. All I know that I like from techno is Marco Bailey, Adam Beyer, and some Cave stuff as well as Hawtin and Magda for minimal techno. |
