So im working in the piano roll and all of the sudden my notes start moving smoothly instead of from bar to bar. (Horizontal movement)
Very frustrating since i have to double click each note now and set it right on the start of the beat instead of just dragging it there like usual.
Is there some sort of hotkey that i pressed to do this? Anyway to set your notes so they dont move smoothly? (I would much rather just cut them when i have to instead of having them smoothly moving all over the place)
Seems like I looked every place to find the answer, but it may just be some sort of problem i dont realize. Anyone run into this before?
......mmmm jes
cheers

Look at number 2.
Snap selector is what you want.
Once you have the proper snap turned on, you can hit ctrl-Q to snap your notes back |

Sadly it doesnt have anything to do with the tool menu.
There are verticle lines coming down in the piano roll,
usually notes pop horizontally from line to line when you drag them, but now when i drag them they have a smooth motion.
(Seems more precise) But when you are trying to line them up for a bar it get tiresome to use the note properties box all the time.
its just a minor thing, but it really gets in the way :-\
any help is appreciated
:p |
