Hi!

I'm about to install a multi-room audio system to my parents house, and I'm trying to comprehend whats out there.
So, are there any other multi-room systems (available in Europe) than Bose, Bang&Olufsen and Sonos?? They can also be wired systems...

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

i'd like one too. i don't like having to turn up music so high in my room so i can hear it in the rest of the house. i have a friend who has a cheap wireless system, it sucks and cuts out but better than nothing. i'd assume wired ftw but lots of work. lets us know how it turns out.

get an i-com system.. they have it at the barracks and they're blasting music at us 0615 everyday.. mostly crappy music but I was delighted to hear energy 52 - cafe del mar one morning :D never been that easy getting up :P

i have a cd player in my bathroom.
so i can listen to while i , shave, and shower.
though when i i prefer to read.
in any case im buying a 4 way pc speaker system and installing in the top corners of the bathroom.
buying extension cords to run to my computer in the office.
that way i can just load up a mix on the pc, switch the sound card to line 2 out, and jam in the bathroom, naked.

Hehe i don't think I will buy a hamradio system...

I would do it wired, but the ease of use for my parents and the messieness of the setup for me means I'm strating to lean towards the wireless solutions. My parents don't listen to trance in 0 dB anyway!

Does anyone have experience of Sonos or Bose? I think it will be the Bose system, but we'll see what they think...

Other stuff: What would be a good remote for a wired system, say connected to a computer? I don't have the money for a good wireless system and I'm not that fond of the basic IR remotes...
