Hello people-
So, I use to live in Seattle when I was a kid, for about 4 years, from 90-94, which was age 10 to 14 for me... I lived in Mill Creek, near Everett....Went to Mill Creek Elementary and Heatherwood Middle School... I loved it... was the most awesome place I've been in the US, and I've been all over...
Lately, I've been thinking of moving back out that way cause I'm looking for new inspirations in my music... I've lived in Atlanta off and on for about 10 years and I HATE this place... just nothing here that inspires me to the least... Seattle has SUCH a great track record for delivering ground breaking artists and I think it's due in large part to the atmosphere, the environment, and the culture of the town as a whole...
I'm a piano player of 20 years who's looking to go pro in some kind of music project like a band or production duo maybe... I was thinking that maybe some of you guys/gals might have some contacts or connections... I wanna be part of something really progressive, like an electronica group (i.e. Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Infusion, RITM,)...you get my drift... I'm not necessarily looking for the most active EDM scene in the US.. I"m looking for the potential to do something new and successful.. to evolve in a new place :)
Basically, i'm looking for a reason to move.. It's a big deal to just upplant and relocate that far away, cause i have NO contacts from my childhood out there... But, I miss the markets, the sound... the waterfront... just the whole culture and atmosphere of that town.... It's so progressive on so many levels that I think i might flourish out there.... you get my drift ;)
