Problem with webcam broadcasting...

Ya I got a webcam program (webcamXP) and set it up.
Only problem is, nobody outside my computer can connect to the stream.
say if i do "http://localhost:8080", i'm fine, i can view it.
but if i put in my IP or my DNS on port 8080, it wont connect.
yes, i have all my necessary ports forwarded, and have even tried proxies, but to no avail. |

not using shoutcast.
oh and i cant use the webcam on msn either for some reason :/ |

I take it your using the Window Media Encoder cause of the port 8080 you posted there, For it to work properly, The URL link to the webcam itself needs to be set like this mms://urlhere:8080 when streaming with Windows Media Player, The links for them most often start with the mms:// instead of the http:// |
