| It looks like a good player, One of the things that suck about the Ipods is there DRM crap that it forces you to use, I mean, You have to use Itunes in order to transfer music onto the device, and on top of that, Anything that you purchase off the Itunes Music Store, Will only work on Itunes or the Ipod, It's best to have a player thats DRM free. |

IPod's are far from being the only mp3 players that have drm protection on them :rolleyes: |

Thats why you don't have to buy music from Itunes, But at some other places that offer DRM free music. I'm not a big supporter of anything with DRM in it, MP3 players need to be open source. That Creative one is the logical choice, It's relatively easy to transfer music to it, Once you hook it up via the USB port, Your PC detects it as a removal storage drive, Then you can transfer all your music into the folders they belong, For Ipods to work, You have to use the Itunes software so that it transfer the mp3s into hidden folders. |

I have this one (click)
I've had it for 4 months now - good sound, easy to use/navigate, plenty of memory, very portable, and at a great price. The batteries last ages too - I took this on a 16 hour journey with me, with it switched on playing most of the time and it was fine. The earphones it comes with aren't that good, but I just added my sony fontopias and it sounds great. Absolutely adore it. |

See that was my main reason for not getting an iPod. I HATE iTUNES... its horrible!!!:whip:

I've heard good things about iriver's sound quality on their mp3 players so good choice. Easy navigation is nice and everything but for myself it comes down to the sound quality and thats where the ipod doesn't cut it. |
