However, I find it utterly DISGUSTING that that is what you think women's day is about.

Regardless what his views on women are he's just trying to get a rise out of anybody. Isn't it quite obvious by the stance he takes on many issues that he's more interested in debating it to death rather than just have his say and be done with it? He's probably bored and needs entertainment.

Ha...to each their own.

Jay has some extreme views. It baffles me why people are surprised when he posts them.

Because I just didn't think he was so ignorant and living in the 1950's.

Don't try to say you made that comment in a general sense - because you specifically related it to women. and that's bull.

It wouldn't surprise me one day to find you're that guy who thinks women should be given an allowance from their husbands or some .

Most ignorant comment I've ever read on this board Jay...congrats

Actually i happen to believe in true equality. Women's day is not a time for self congratulatory pats on the back. Its a time to focus on women's issues. And women's issues happen to also affect men! So the moment i bring up some issues pertaining to women, feminism, and how present day thinking is leading women down the wrong path, suddenly im a bad guy? I know what women's day is about. Its about awareness and trying to solve problems.

It's true that special interest groups play the role of the victim and in canada its all about money (whether its raw money or in the form of control).

You are so very wrong by trying to suggest that im some sort of chauvenist just because i dont roll over and play dead the moment someone decides to force feed me their played out PC tripe. True equality is just that, EQUALITY. And from where i am sitting, present day "feminists" want dominance, not equality.

I could bring up a large list of examples but im sure you can already figure them out for yourself.

Im highly offended that just by questioning feminism and women's day that it could be suggested that i am a chauvenist. In fact id argue that most so called "feminists" are much more chauvenistic than the men they complain about.

Women's day should be changed to "humanity day" because issues that affect women also have a counter effect on men and vice versa. And men are part of the solution, not the problem. So instead of throwing out insults at the first person that challenges the status quo, maybe you should listen to a fresh perspective.

Ill add something else to this as well, The One thing I have never done is personally attcaked someone on this board just because i disagree with them. (other than ryan parks hahaha). So if anyone should be offended, it's me. But frankly i dont really care.

I have thought about it, and I still think you're an ignorant pig.

That's how offended I am that you branded women as victims. Women who fight for equality are just playing victims. That's all I really need to hear from you Jay.

Second person on my ignore list.

Women have branded themselves as victims. What i am saying is that THEY ARE NOT!

Go ahead and ignore someone with an opposing opinion...

PS: the word ignorance comes from the word ignore ;)

haha...because you know me so well!
but thanks for your advice. When I get to "real life" I will let you know how I fare.

This is one thing I find particularly offensive, and I know I'm not the only one on this board who thinks so.
