Rebirth distortion?

Anyone know what the type of distortion used in Rebirth is called? I'm looking for a VST that sounds like it.
I'm actually looking for an effect similar to that used in Sasha - Xpander (which is the best song on the planet, btw.) The filtered, distorted, ultra-stereo delay used throughout.
Clues? |

Yah, I have both. I have tonnes of signal degredation vsts.
Is the rebirth dist really a depth reducer, though? Doesn't sound like one to me... |

think its overdrive. |
I really highly doubt that. I think it's a waveshaper. It has a shape control knob. I assume that's between square and saw, or perhaps a pulse width control on a square waveshaper. |
