so im shopping around for a new gfx card for my computer and i want something that'll make me crack a decent sized smile when im running my games on it. make that a huge smile. massive.
i have now a radeon 9800XT which is decent gfx card from oh lets say 2003? runs most modern games on the medium high settings but on some of the newer newer ones (hl2, f.e.a.r.) tends to lag when set to these higher settings.
also, the fan for the gfx card is very loud and tends to "grind" when its under a lot of stress lately.
this will not fly.
9800 is 256...
im looking for a 512 and have been checking out ati's new radeon X1900...
pretty sweet.
anyone have any suggestions?
ps also getting another gig ram :toothless

ya man. you get special mobos with 2 pci-e slots and and it will run both and you get srsly a 100% performance increase |
