So my favorite DJ in the world will be playing with the 2nd worse DJ I have ever seen.

In all likelyhood, opening for them will be the #1 worst DJ have ever seen, Mr. Mark Tabernner, who for some daft reason will open for every single fundacion LA.

God damn you bastards...Sasha & Digweed...AGAIN. (We didnt get them last year).

icrymuch :(

Hopefully Sasha drops by Vegas again and trunks drags some of you out here.

eh u..you selfish degenerate basteds

didn't LA also just get Sasha and Zabs? Quit your whining.

this is hard for me to understand. why does a dj as skilled as sasha invite james lavelle who basically is laughed at by everyone for being pathetic? i am glad he's not bringing him to nyc, that's for sure.

you cali folks need to stop whining. as touched on above, you get a huge share of massive events. sasha & digweed have a big history with new york and for that reason a once a year gig from the duo there is really not that unexpected. same reason paul van dyk still does 6 hour sets there a few times per year when he's really not doing them anywhere else.... the history.
one word: TWILO
this club advanced these DJs' careers, brought a great deal of european talent across the atlantic and left a special mark on the ny scene that has created a connection between these names and this city for a long time.

NYE sucked ass, I mean, the set is on TA...Sander was meh. You guys got a Sander residency.

Besides...its not real whining, I'm just messin around, and I'm glad we can exchnage fundacion stories with the dual residency.

Sasha + JZ was def huge...but come on Lavelle for the 06 closing party....in weak.

We got Lavelle last year in February with Sasha. Though I couldn't stay long because of some drama (not caused by me at all), it was sounding better than Josh Wink's event was in May. I like a lot of what Lavelle plays, he just can't mix well. Winkm though, killed the flow of Sasha's opening when he came on at 3 am, but it did get better when him and Sasha tag-teamed starting at like 5.

Coincidently, I've heard rumors that Josh Wink is the DJ that we get in June for Sasha's last Fundacion.

Do you guys get Sasha and Lee Burridge in April?

phoenixBEBE
OMG i hope we get Sasha + JZ at Crobar again in NYC before his residency is up this year, now THAT i would make a MUST-ATTEND. :tongue2

Yup...Sasha and Lee I'm really lookin forward too...especially since I've never seen Lee but his live sets are HUGE!

I've never seen Wink, but my friends saw him at Avalon LA once and said he was sick. Cant comment with Sasha though.

Lavelle played before Holden here in October...he was horrible. Wrecking left and right, he ed up and left the vocal accapella for PQM - Your Are Sleeping play for about 4 whole minutes (its a long time when your standing on the dance floor) He also played a bunch of Holden's tracks before Holden...which was stupid.
