Is the mp3 suppost to end ubruptly after the breakdown during the outro?
This is a very swell collection of ideas. Sometimes, however, they are a little cluttered -- perhaps underdeveloped. For instance, I'm not the biggest fan of your kick. The kick has a good lo-fi wallop to it that's more of a cut-off buildup to the true kick. That's just my opinion.
For an intro as long as you have, it could almost be dreamier, or more ambient driven. Almost like an intro to an epic trance set.
The percussion could have more spike to it... Your trance loop is minimalistic, and I take it for granted that I have little listening experience with minimalistic EDM. Your breakdown was a techno-ish buzzline (mid-freq bassline), that was ok -- didn't make me jump up and yell or anything.
Overall, I like the direction this track is taking. Yay for Jeneiro! :cool: |
