I am looking for a good weekly pub to hang out at downtown.
Location isn't really an issue, but I am looking for a GOOD and decently priced pub.
Music: live is good... indie/punk/rock
Age group: 19-25
I've gotten really sick of campus pubs recently, and want to discover some good places downtown. |

| the Horseshoe Tavern on queen and spadina, there is usually a live band (or two) and lots of semi-drunk pretty girls to pick :-) |

ahha I get dizzy there. Ive been a couple times the past couple of weeks
Sneaky dees - cheap beer is always good. And they serve food till four am. serious bonus.
come summer - Black Bull - the patio is the best one in toronto for loungin in the sun with a pint. Food not so good.
Might be a lil north for you but I just also recently discovered a REALLY great band on wednesday nights at the Unicorn on Eglinton East, near Mt Pleasant. My friend and I stopped in there on wednesday night and this band was good. They rocked out, it was awesome.
Also, Chelsea Room at Dundas & Bellwoods. My friend works there and says its pretty good. Ive been meaning to check it out, but apparently its pretty busy every weekend. |
