I love that set, I think Pete Tong's intro to that EM is the best one yet.
I have so many Essential Mixes from '99 and 2000 that I can't even pick a specific one that necessarily got me into trance, litle alone one specific track that made me fall in love with trance. Aroura, Alya or Orbital, probably one of them. Then for vocal trance since I love love LOVE vocal trance it definitely would have been Kirsty Hawkshaw with It's a Fine Day or Jan Johnston with Skydive or maybe Flesh. |

as for singles... BT- flaming june, PvD- for an angel, Binary Finary- 1998, and everything by Gouryella of course!!:D
but as far as sets go... tiesto live at trance energy 2000 (the new year's eve party 1999-2000 put on by ID&T radio) is definitely seminal...
