I don't want to come across as rude, but you own a CDJ 800 yet you don't know how to burn an audio CD?? What software are you using??
mcdpitt
that's ok, just bought the 800's today, finally adding cd's...

Oh ok, just checking. I wouldn't put an investment in like that if I never knew how to burn an audio CD. But your coming from vinyl so, yeah you might not know, which is understandable. Welcome to the age of digital!

Dude you really should get a program, like Nero Burning Rom. Here's some trial versions. It'll make your life much easier, and you can do much more with your files. I never drag files onto the CD drive, I always use software...

Nero Downloads

thanks for your help, damn i had no idea i wouldn't be able to just click and drag, very new to the whole 21st century thing. i'm going to try and figure this all out, this is definately the easist way??
Spirit5
You should be able to just drag and drop though, I've never done that though haha. Just software for me...but i'm trying it out myself right now...

Ok drag it onto your cd-rw drive, and then once the files are in there, there should be a gray screen with two options, audio and data, just click audio, thats all. Now I know as well :)

I just use Nero 6, and just find the files and add them and go to burn compilation and thats it...

would it make any difference being on an apple?? i'm downloading the nero 7 now...
