OK, so I've actually gotten around to "warping" songs in Ableton and this is my first mix since actually doing some....so here goes.
This is more of me just slapping tracks together than focusing on programming. But I have to say, by far the best mixing I've done yet. Warping makes the beats sound so much better during transitions! But I still have a ways to go as sometimes it's tough to get those beats (by the 1/16th) just right.
Anyone who has been nice enough to listen to the few previous mixes I've made public on here will notice a drastic improvement with the beat matching. :-p
I think for once, I can say that if you listen to this mix, you won't be disappointed!
I really wanted to have Dogzilla - Dogzilla in there, so bought it along with a few others (like Pumpkin). I love Beatport. :p And Armada/Coldharbour for Poison. I need to be careful, $2 - $4 here and there are going to add up real fast.

| I've downloaded a few of your sets and so far, this one is the tops. Track selection is hot (As the rush comes is prob my all time fav song) and the beatmatching is on point. good job |

Thanks peeps. Just listened to it full on a good system and I'm personally happy with it...I mean, at least i'm showing progress.
Still a long ways to go...gotta work on the cueing more. Plus I really wish I had an external mixer. Switching between tracks to adjust EQs in Ableton is a real pain especially when you need to adjust at specific points.
But...have to save up to move out of the city and for teh baby. So no mixer for me unless I get some charity, lol.:)

| Hey Dave just got finished listenin to your set. enjoyed it... was thinking though, I would have switched the first two tracks around, cause I think it would make a better intro. Thanks for sharing though. |

Cant be arsed to dig up the thread...or listen to the samples...but if I recall right it rips off baisically the entire melody of Nathan Fake - The Sky Was Pink (James Holden Remix) If you listen to both...the similarities are pretty striking. |

| Actually, the first time I heard Purple Haze - Adrenaline, I totally thought it was a new Nathan Fake track. Very similar styles but going back and listening...they are a bit different. :0 |
