Ok, I keep downloading all these live sets, but when it comes to putting it on a CD, it burns as ONE 70-minute track. Is there any way I can cut the tracks up so I can navigate through the cd better. Pleeeeeeeease help

this is a link to a software called mannsmp3edit. its recommended by the guys at djmixes2k. all you do is take that big file load it and cut away. if you need help with the software, drop me a line.

if this link doesnt work, go to djmixes2k and at the bottom of the page is the direct link.

there are a couplr ways to do it....i just went throught this....you can make CUE sheets with WINCUE program and then load them in WINCDR program and that will cut them up....i am not familiar with that process because my burner was not recognized by that program so i couldn't try to do it.....but it might work for you..it seems very easy though...

but i used a program called NERO to cut mine up...it was very easy..matter fact i just finished cutting up all my Tiesto sets last week...over 60 sets....NERO is very easy to do...if you get NERO and need help jusy let me know and i will giude you through the steps...its very easy but i will help you if you need me to...

you can get either program off Kazaa/Morpheous/WINMX....

well if you want get those programs and i will help you through it...if you need me just drop me an email or PM....

yea but i think he wants to cut up LIVE sets..and those sites have a small selection of cue sheets for live sets...so more then likely he will either have to make his own CUE sheets for his live sets or use a program like NERO where you dont need a CUE sheet but just have to pint where you want the break and it puts it in 1,2,3 without writing a cue sheet....

I use Wavelab to cut my live set, althought it is kind of difficult to use.

Unless I can download the cuefile for the particular cd in question, I use traktor (an mp3 mixing program) to find out the cue points for each track, then use this information to write cue files in notepad for cdrwin (which you have to save using the .cue file extension). I also have to go through this process when I want to burn my own mixed cds. If you want any help or advice on this method, then pm me and I'll explain it in detail. It's fairly complicated if you're not sure how to manipulate cue files, so it's not a way I would recommend to everybody.

Unless you can find the cuesheets on www.trancecues.com or www.dance-paradise.org , the method suggested by tiesto14, using Nero, sounds fairly simple to do. I have never used Nero like this, so I'm not sure how well it would work.
