I'm buying an XBox 360 one of these days, and I want an HDTV for it. It probably won't have built in HD, I just need a monitor.
I want it to be around $500, above 17" and if possible, a reliable company, either through reputation or personal experience. |

Hmm, You could possible go for an LCD HDTV, Just be sure it has the right plugs to connect any HDTV receiver be it HDMI, DVI, VGA, And Composite, I don't know what type of HDTV plugs the 360 uses, So you first might want to check what the 360 uses to plug on the HDTVs before buying one, Otherwise you be shooting yourself in the foot. The 360 outputs HD at 720p, So chances are, It uses either HDMI, DVI, or VGA, The composite connectors are those blue green and red cables for DVD players that supports progressive scan so that your DVDs output to 480p. So be sure to check on the system at what output is required. |

| Panasonic TC-19LX50, this might be the only HDTV in your price range. |

| Make sure it's a wide-screen HDTV. I regret not getting one. Instead I got a 4:3 ratio TV. |
