anyone? i may be going, would like to know if it is deadly humid, what the city is like these days, if nick warren hangs out there playing that way out west track, etc....

Hot and humid is what should be expected even if july and august are really the peak months for that kinda of horrid weather but still it'll be pretty bad in june already!
Also try to learn about local customs before you go there and also some of the local language :) |

humid, hot. hm..lots of beach parties, almost every weekend, or at least every other weekend, it seems like. nick warren..yeah, he seems to like the city. keeps revisiting it, nevermind his GU album.

you'll need language in some areas. basic stuff, just to get around.
taxi rides, par example. shopping, so you can bargain. otherwise, the place is packed with expats, you'll get around just fine. |
