Check out http://www.mp3-host.com. They are excellent. But does anybody know where they do the same service but then sponsored(read:free).

I'm not talking about something like soundclick with ugly interfaces.

kind regards,

If you ever look for webspace to host your tracks, I would STRONGLY suggest to never buy a membership with any of those 'hosting' sites.

I hooked myself up with an official domain name, 1GB of webspace and unlimited traffic for no less than €50 per year with:

haha, I almost hooked up with B-One too. It was just the first one that came up on google. I did everything right and signed up for a domainname that their finder said was free. Two weeks later. After I payed them, I got a letter saying it was taken. And the work I had to put in to get my money back was terrible.

At the same time they informed me that there where about 15 different file extentions they didn't support. What's the point in advertising 2gig of space when you can't put big files on? What, do they expect you to right 2 million letters of text?

Anyway. I just got two accounts on myspace. A music account and a normal account. Then linked them up to eachother and this is the result:

Myspace site

I'm pleased with the result so far. I get mp3 stream and I can design my own interface. And all that for free.

careful using these silly "file transfer" or "temp space" sites -- most of them will only host your file for so long, some of them dont allow an unlimited number of downloads, and almost all are filled with banners, popups, or worse.

i cant even count the number of tracks/mixes i've attempted to download from these sites only to find broken links or be directed to 1238471240 million ads before even being told the file is "expired" or "not found"

certainly not what you want to promote a track...
