I thought the set was pretty solid and some of the new tracks that he was laying down were quite catchy - but overall it wasn't a memorable set. Great time as always with Bobby, Ang, Andy and co. The night just flew by :(

But really, I liked Seneca's set better than Walsh's or Seaman's - he hit it kinda hard about 20 minutes into the set and then pulled back a little bit and the rest of the set was just a lot of fun to listen to until Walsh took the decks and started dropping Tiga bombs.

I'm sad to say that my 90 day drinking moratorium lasted all of 5 days.

On a side note, I visited my brother today and met my newly-born niece for the first time. I am an uncle now

I vaguely recall talking to Seaman during the set and asking him about a track, he told me "Zombie" was the name of the track by Luetzenkirchen but that was not the track, Zombie was the one right before it. Then he had to get back to the decks and I never found out the name of it

It was ridiculously good - tracks that good should carry a warning label.

Last night was fun, as usual. Great to see Angie, Bobby, Yuris, Seneca, Mike, Lara and others :) Neil & Dennis, where were you?

I agree that Seneca had an excellent set as usual, and I also liked Chris Walsh and of course Dave. Once again the loft was amazing with George & RJ to the point that I almost forgot to go back downstairs for Dave's set. Next to Sharam, I think I'm looking forward more to the next local battle than anything else.

Sorry for being rude and passing out at afters, I went to my room to check something out on my computer and went down for the count. Nevertheless another fine TA party.

EDIT: Congratulations Uncle Yuris.

Thanks for coming out everyone... always great times when you are all around... I dig it! I really don't like the setup on the stage but I understand why they do it if it's not going to be a huge crowd. They had the booth so far back on the stage as well... would have been better closer to the dancefloor. Because of that I didn't really feel satisfied with my set.

I feel I could have done better but given the conditions I'm kinda like 'whatever'. I reeeeeallly hate playing less than 2 hours. I feel I cannot do anything unless I have a few hours to work the crowd. It was a tough crowd and people didn't hit the floor closer to the end of my set. Here is what I played last night:

Buick Project - At The Rave (Electric Press Remix)
Will Saul - Chameleon
The Electric Press - RE:Evaluate
Mischa Daniels - So Strong (16 Bit Lolitas Remix)
Can Costa - Play Guru (Paolo Mojo Remix)
Soul Mekanik - Wanna Get We (Buick Project Dub)
Trick & Kubik - Easy feat. Valeska
Buick Project - Lumieres (Buick Mix)
Tweak - Kumquat
Zoo Brazil - Get You
Goldfrapp - Ooh La La (Tiefschwarz Remix)
Tiga - Good As Gold
Ben Macklin - Release
James Benitez - Miss Thing (Future Tribal Remix)

Good times and I hope to have a proper pre-party and afters this summer for one of my gigs!

3. Vision should make it policy to search people for whistles BEFORE they are able to enter the club.

I cant believe people still are using whistles. Its so annoying. I didn't like it 6 years ago, and now it really iritates me.

Uggh......I am super hungover..

I was seriously contemplating walking over to the kid and ripping it out of his mouth.

My brain hurts.

Had alot of fun (probably too much) last night. Partying harder than everyone else in your group is always interesting but a great way to meet new people. :clown: Met some very fun people last night who I'm sure I'll be partying with in the future. And Rowena might be one of the nicest people I've met.

Seneca - as I told you last night and again this morning, I really did enjoy your set. The Trick & Kubick track is definitely going in my Beatport crate ASAP. Thanks again for letting me keep my vehicle in your structure as well, very much appreciated.

Nice to check out the locals upstairs for a while, it was my first experience in the penthouse and I'll definitely make sure to check it out on my subsequent Vision trips. What I caught of Walsh's set was also solid.

As always good times partying with Yuris/Andy/Ang. Andy your roomate had the most priceless expression on his face at about 7am when he walked out of his bedroom and looked at the one Russian guy who was smoking a cigarette, who said to your roomate "Hey man! Who are you?!"

And Seaman kicked ass, IMO. I haven't been out to a proper 'progressive house' set (if such exists anymore) in a while and I really dug it. Even the Tracking Treasure Down mix had me dancing.

What I remember:

Rowan & Jaytech - Tomorrow
Acquaviva & Leutzenkirchen - Zombie (Aquachop Dub)
Cirez D - Punch Drunk / Copyrat
John Dahlback - Prankster (dope!)
Phonique ft. Erlend Oye - For The Time Being (Montero Dub)
Shiloh - Dream On (Luke Chable Remix) (Track of the Night)
Guy Gerber - Stoppage Time (Osamu M Emagine Mix)
16 Bit Lolitas - Sedna
Gabriel & Dresden - Tracking Treasure Down (Dave Seaman's Group Therapy Mix)
Royksopp - What Else is There? (Jacques Lu Cont Dub)
Coldplay - Talk (Thin White Duke Remix)
Sultan & Ned Sheppard - Connected
Nufrequency - Buy Me (Dub Mix)

He encored with some familiar track I can't remember right now. Deepsky - Ghost maybe? It kind of sucked.

I agree with this.

And the damn Russians. Oh my goooooooooood. Every time I was about to fall asleep, the one dude would look over at me and go "Baby girl! Why are you falling asleep?!"

:(

I believe you're thinking of the acapella from King Unique - Flashing Lights.

He plays that acapella over a Chris Lake track in his new Renaissance disc, but he didn't play it last night :(

:haha: Tom either doesn't drink and complains about the music when it's soft or else blacks out and doesn't even know anyone is there when we're 10 times louder. A bouncer from a bar he doesn't even remember going to last night dropped off his phone today. These Russians sound classic. Someone should sample them for a track sometime.

Lets bring whistles to the Tiesto Protest!
