| The percussin is generic sounding, and the bass didn't do it for me either. As neither did the rest of the song. I found it to be pretty minimal, and repetitive. If this was the sound you were going for, hey man, that's cool. |

One of my favourite tunes of the last 2 years although you have nice elements in this it doesn't really send shivers up my spine like the original did. you haven't really added much to it, its too similar to the original only with added effects. maybe you could add your own lead and try to diversify the tune slightly make it your own.

Great percussion at the beggining, the kick is great, and the snare just right. But, when the rest of the elements comes in I realize the kick is too loud. Try to make bass different, maybe more roling to give it drive. The arrangement is not really exciting even though the melody is beautifull. I do like the percs as I said. Try to add some different elements and work on the arrangement to surprise the listener.
All in all good mix to start with.
