crobar is arguably the best megaclub in the city and has won numerous national awards. tiesto has said it's one of his favorite n. american clubs in which to spin.
the crowds tend to skew toward the meathead variety, but if you're focusing on the music instead of standing around and creating a buzzkill atmosphere with your friends, you're more likely to enjoy yourself.
the video embedded in the link below is of tiesto @ crobar last february:

tracklists of tiesto's previous crobar gigs can be found: Here; Here; and Here |

its real fun, crowds are good for the most part, obviously wherver you go you're bound to run into people you hate but Crobar's crowd on trance night is pretty good i must say |

| And the bartenders are usually quite nice. Such a lovely change from the Roxy. |

Why the edit to your original post?
I guess if we don't like Tiesto, we're cry babies. Maybe the problem is that you don't go out enough/listen to enough music and you think he's good. I'm not living in the past. There's lots of current DJs and tracks that I'd rather see, so if that makes me a crybaby, well...

i think italstylz was referring to the inordinate amount of time the gimps on this site devote to constantly denigrating tiesto; you'd think the guy ran over people's grandmothers with the amount of that gets spewed...
there are plenty of djs i could give a about, yet for some inexplicable reason i don't feel the need to constantly whine, bitch and find clever new ways to waste swamper's bandwidth.
many people on this board have moved beyond the 'witty criticism' category and have become cartoonish trolls whose responses in a tiesto-related thread are as predictable as clockwork. the fact that the 'critiques' come mostly from relative noobs to the scene make it all the more pathetic. |
