One of Toronto's top house producers, Martino Lozej also releases under the names "MKUltra2", "Manchurian Candidate", "Soul Intentions" (Karizma + Martino + Tyrone Solomon), "Eminence" (Martino + Adam "Suges" Sugar), "83 West" (Tyrone Solomon + Martino Lozej).
he's currently doing session work for/with: Jon Cutler (NYC); Marlon D (Underground Collective, Jellybean Recordings, NYC) ; The Fanatix; Louis Benedetti (Soulshine Recordings, Miami); Halo, Dj Rocco; and Jon Kumahara (Iwanai, great local label!). we're showcasing TWO highly-talented artists (Quentin Harris and Martino) tomorrow night and it's times like this when we're certainly excited about our 'work' bringing talent to the forefront and showcasing beautiful soulful music to share with everyone. we'll only be satisfied and know that it's worthwhile if YOU come out to enjoy, experience and share it with us! we truly hope you can make it by.
Quentin Harris is a gem of a producer, originally from detroit and now living and working out of NYC for the past several years, who's simply been wowing everyone with his killer remixes and original productions, gaining the respect and admiration of other house music heavyweights around the world as a result. he's also been touring extensively world-wide (just getting back from wowing folks over in south beach, miami with the debut of his latest and highly anticipated "no politics" album at the Shelter NYC 16yr anniversary event) and he's been in the studio relentlessly unleashing hit after hit over the past few years (does this guy ever sleep?)
if you're a soulful house music fan, there's no doubt you've heard AT LEAST one of his gems over the past year or so. he's worked with and remixed the likes Donnie (his "Cloud 9" rmx was an instant classic! i know you know it!), R.E.M. (yes, the band), Jill Scott, Timmy Regisford, Blaze, Osunlade, Solu, Bah Samba, Ron Trent, Steal Vybe, Big Moses, India Arie (i believe he recently is remixing/remixed a Radiohead track? yes Radiohead), the legendary Robert Owens and so many countless others.
