I know you lot must get sick of these threads that start with "tracks similar to..." but i've only just started mixing and cant wait to get right into it.
So could you please recommend tracks similar to the following.
Luke Chable - Melburn
Infusion - Girls Can Be Cruel
Syntax - Bliss (Felix The Housecat mix)
P.S
Just in case you're not sure, i'm referring to tunes that have that really warm sound. These songs should contain at least two of the following.
a) Minimalism
To be more specific, no whiny blippy synths or complex melodies. layering is fine as long as the volume levels arent heaps far apart; the whole track should be smooth.
b) Warm sounds
e.g. The tracks mentioned above have a nice warm muffled bassline.
c) Good mastering
The three tracks mentioned above also have something else in common... They seem to be mastered perfectly which adds to the overall smoothness. |

Its mainly warm, smooth and sounds good...

ahhh, because:
1. I am asking you guys for other warm tracks.
2. It would be stupid putting several tracks from the same artists in one mix.
