Question about Acid Pro and automatic key adjustment

Hi!
I have read that Acid pro supports both automatic tempo and key adjustment. I am only really interested in the key adjustment feature. Do i have to set a 'master key' for the project and then all the loops i drop in are key adjusted automatically?
Please someone shed some light on this issue for me!
Thanks in advance. |

I don't know if pitch shifting can be applied globally, but yes it can be done, as can timestretching. |

Yup.. If you set the root note on for example G then all of the loops you drop are gonna be in G. But beware that not all loops support this feature.. the loops that do are called acidized loops meaning they are created and rendered through acid with a root note property embedded in them hence being able to support the key modification feature. If you make a loop in say.. Reason.. It will not change it's key properties according to acid so your going to have to manaully pitch shift it. Hope this helps. |
