That's some confusing stuff on their website (http://www.balenblanc.com)... it says tickets are $60 from 26th Jan. to 2nd Feb., but when you click on "tickets" on the left menu, you're taken to a site that sells them for $75... now don't tell me that there is tax and service charge of $15 on these.

Yeah, I was confused by it as well, but I figured it out. The $60 tickets are advanced tickets, and are only available at the few outlets in montreal. The advanced tickets are not available online or anywhere in T.O. as far as I know. Luckily my friends were in montreal this weekend and picked up the tickets for $60, so i'm definitely heading up for bal en blanc. And I do believe a T.A. meet-up is in order for this party. |

| I've already made up my mind - $40 for 2 days of the most insane partying my feet have ever had 'pleasure' of attending will keep me here in T.O, for Wintergalactic party... and the fact that I've seen PVD (twice) and Deep Dish (a week ago)... |

You people would drive all the way to Montreal, where you can see PVD for 75 freakin' dollars, instead of going to a better production quality event, that goes for two days, costs $40 CDN, has more than 27 International DJ's you probably have never seen and most likely will not see for a while that perform and play better music? More variety, new venue, all around a better event.

Yeah, Andre, you tell them... PVD will be back in Toronto, sooner or later, and so will Deep Dish (they have been here 3 times already), but the artists Sonicstate is bringing in for Wintergalactic won't be back anytime soon... And $75, plus the cost of a trip? Maybe some of other time.

Well, I probably would have chose WinterGalactic if I had known that it was going to end up on the same weekend, but at the time I bought my ticket for Bal En Blanc, wintergalactic was still scheduled for March 16 and I was planning on going to both. So... who's fault is that? ;) |

I've decided to go to Wintergalactic aswell.....its gonna be a very unique experience.........
Plus its always fun to party with lots of TA's and im sure there will be lots there. And 37 hours!!, thats awesome !! |

No. I'm perfectly sane. :p Bal en Blanc will still be wicked no matter who plays. It's just that there's a lot more DJs that I like more than PVD. |
