Plugging a digital(computer) speaker system into a mixer

Surely there has to be a way to do this without buying an expensive new set of speakers/amplifier. The problem is, the mixer (VSC002) only has an A/V out. So what I'd need is an adaptor that converts a computer out into an A/V that can be jacked into the mixer. I've done 4 shops so far, no one in either of them seemed to have any remote idea what I was talking about, then I did some online searching and all I found was an adaptor that converted a digital signal into an A/V (presumably for listening to an mp3 player on a sound system rather than headphones). What I need is a socket to plug the speakers into, not something to plug into a socket. So far I don't even know if such a device exists. :conf:

What the hell is an A/V out?

Do you mean RCA?

Yeah sorry, after re-reading that I realize that I wrote it in a pretty confusing fashion. :p

Here's the simplified version:

I need a 1 1/8" digital stereo FEMALE to 2 RCA MALE adaptor
Orbital32
Radio shack.

digital? you mean a TOS-Link or digital coaxial?

I'm using my Logitech Z2300 with my mixer right now...

All you need is a 1/8-F to RCA-M cable, but in my case I'm using a 1/8-F to 1/4-M and then a 1/4-F to RCA-M cable :p

DDO Electrique is your friend ;)

What/Where is DDO?

So far I've tried The Source (radio shack), 2 futureshops, 1 bureau en gros (staples for you englies), 2 electronics shops, hi-fi, addison (they usually have everything) and all I've found were adaptors where the mini stereo was male. No females anywhere :(

Addison SHOULD have it...

DDO Electronique (like Addison) is in the West Island, on Brunswick, right next to Sources, across the street from the Guzzo...

Like I said, I'm using a 1/8 Female to 1/4 Male and then a 1/4 Female to RCA Male...

Suppose I used a mini stereo coupler, would I lose alot of signal?
