. Now I gotta buy CDJs?

FAQ!
INTRANCE
This is so sad :( Even though CDj's are better and its cheaper to use CD's, there is something so special about the vinyl. Getting it signed, hanging it up, playing it...:(
Orko
Sad news, but ill be there tomorrow!

A friend had just told me. I think the new system/direction is awesome.

I agree. Damn unique. I like the concept of the "promo record pool" idea done digital.

its not the first.
many years ago, a dj friend of mine in the gta used to run one called w-wip (worldwide internet pool)
i saw his operation in his basement at the time. pretty crazy.
he sold it not too long ago and it just disappeared.

SOME EDM?>? they have tons of EDM.. and they even get some stuff Release didnt' get. The griminess makes the 'diggin in da crates' all that more authentic. I've been shopping there since early 90's.. and they'll probably be the only RECORD SHOP to survive this whole thing. Plus there's still 2 the Beat.. and online shops. It's not the end of the vinyl world in Toronto. Although I did love Release..and everyone who worked there were amazing dudes..not only music wise..but just to talk and shoot the with...or party with.

in comparison to hiphop section, the individual EDM genre cant begin to compare.
the grim and diggin is "authentic" but its a pain when you finally find a gem that has really loud snaps and crackles (that dont clean of easliy) cuz of the dust/grim.

but its true, PdR will probably sell THE last vinyl on the planet, if that day ever comes. Its a great store, but it can't compare to the feel and vibe at release imo.

U're absolutely right about this. Releases vinyl quality was far superior to Play de's. I just dig deeper to see if there's one that's fairly newish. But yeah.. RR's were all in spectacular condition... for the most part... in comparison to Play de's...that is.

MLB
sorry to hear that bye bye
shanny
I'll be curious to see how it works guys, good luck!
