Time to get nostalgic!
In the past month at least six trance remixes of classic 80's songs have been released. Can anyone add more? Here's the list:
Unix-Wild Pleasure = Softcell - Tainted Love<--melody remixed
Damn Noa-like a prayer=Madonna-Like A Prayer <-Tech trance with vocals sampled.
Dumonde-Can U Dig It? = Laura Brannigan-Self-Control <--Uplifting with no vocals, melody remixed.
Aquagen-Hard To Say I'm Sorry = Chicago-Hard To Say I'm Sorry<--Vocals sampled with new epic melody.
Orgy-Blue Monday (Rob Searle Mix) = Orgy-Blue Monday <-Melody remixed
Pump 69-Smooth Criminal = Michael Jackson-Smooth Criminal <--no vocals, melody remixed...kinda cheesy.
Michael Jackson - Billy Jean (Bushwacka Remix) <--a lot like the original but with breakbeats and scratches added. Tiesto played this one! |

Hello.
About 'Blue Monday' this is the correct information.
"New Order - Blue Monday" 1980`s.
In 1999 'Orgy' remade the track in a rock/industrial style.
Now in 2002, Rob Searle made a remake of it in a trance style.
But the original writter of this is "new order"

thanx for the clarificatin fox... "blue monday" was never one of my fav songs.
self-control is a special one for me. my first memories were late 1983/1984...thats one of the first songs i remember. when i heard the dumonde remix i immediately recognized it. |

there is also a phat club remix of billie jean and i heard that its better.
also another that pops into my mind is erasure- oh'lamour (matt darey remix) its not new but awesome remake |
