I think the article dealt with online downloading and file swapping between p2p networks, as opposed to the manufacturing and sales of bootleg music, which I imagine is a lot more prominent elsewhere. Personally, I find the article a little dull. Just a quickie throwing the blame on bad copyright laws. I tend to not dl music much, except live sets. However, I feel that I myself was getting robbed at one time. i was getting robbed of my money and my time invested to make that money by being forced to purchase ty products, ty compilations full of y songs so I could listen to one or two tunes I actually wanted to have. What about the limited amount of products there are available? The music that I do buy, I tend to get online a lot, mostly from overseas. Too overpriced to buy the limited selection or mail order from HMV or whatever. Just my 0.02 |
