young's double slit experiment...i remember learning that in school...it still makes my brain hurt, although the cartoon animation thing makes it interesting..
aggh i had to edit this cuz i just realized ive seen the lady at the very end before in another science related movie about....i cant even remember but it was trippy..and there was a black kid playing basketball and changing time |

hahahaha. that's the most worthless "physics experiment" i've ever seen.
i'm certainly a geek, having taken quantum physics my first year of college, but this is actually the VERY first thing we learned.
if you want to know more about this , take a quantum physics class and you'll see a lot more crazier ->electrons existing in a physically impossible area for example. the math of it all is relatively simple, but the concepts are absolutely mind blowing. |

haha. sorry. maybe sounded a little harsh.
i meant, it's not what i expected when you said physics experiment. just simply because it was done a while ago. i guess i expected like a real life experiment.
some things that i've seen: sand that conglomerates together when under influence of water. when you pore water out, sand is no longer moist at all, and reverts back to initial state. search "magic sand"
"levitation of human": saw this at a class at MIT. unfortunately, it wasn't a real human, but it was a blowup doll that levitated 1 foot above desk
superconductor : this stuff is badass and is always amazing to watch.
also, if you take more hardcore classes or learn more about this in the quantum world, you'll see that there's much more crazier, more interesting "cool physics experiments."

also, wanted to say, that although it is an experiment that you had there, it's mostly used as a proof of the particle-wave duality of the electron; the thing with these above experiments is that they use physical and chemical laws in a practical nature of some sorts. they're also just badass.
