'94 camaro. I dunno what was beefed up with the tranny. The previous owner said that the tranny was beefed up like woah. And now I know what he means.
If it helps, when it shifted into second gear it was like, "EEERRRRRRR *UMPH* eeeeEEEEERRRRR". There was a SICK ASS jump to 2nd.
Now it's like this, "EEEEEEERRRRReeeeRRRRRRRR" :( see that? No jump. It just shifts, and it shifts slower than the old tranny, I could probobly shift faster if I was using a manual transmission. :( |

beefed up = shift kit on automatic transmission
B&N race shift kit = 150 dollars canadian from crappy tire.
takes about 4 hours to install..... |

| how exactly did they rip you off then? They rebuilt your faulty transmission back to the 'correct' specifications - if u want specs beyond the additional, you either pay them more to do them, or you do them yourself.. |

It didn't literally BLOW UP, I don't think a transmission can, lol. But it was ed. It wouldn't even go into drive, lol.
I'm still pretty pissed. That was my ing pride and joy, and now I have to settle with stock.

And BTW, it's a V6. How do I win races? I only race stangs :p
The worst is when you don't look into someones car right away, before racing them. The when the light is about to turn green, you look over, and... ! They have a million gauges in their car, and the light turns green, and they fly away. It sucks.
And I am confident enough to say I might be the best driver in the world. I don't need speed to get my way. :) |
