Progressive breaks fans??

Any progressive breaks fans here? I've really gotten into them lately, especially Way Out West (well i've always liked them), Digital Witchcraft, Shiloh, Derek Howell, Brahma, Pinkbox Special, Ray & Peter, Opencloud and Damien Heck, among others. The best two labels i've heard are Proton Music and Sentient Audio Collective. Wanting to check out the radio shows as well from some of these guys on Proton radio when I get a chance. I've just gotten into this stuff in the last month or so...so i'm still a newbie with this sub-genre.

i spin and produce breakz, more florida style than progressive though, but i toss a little of a few styles in there. I really only know older stuff well though. Check out Dave London and DJ Rob-E.

check out my track "evolution" on my myspace

Yeah thats what i like about some of this stuff, the ambient qualities. Esp Pinkbox Special's "The French Don't Cry", that tune just gives me shivers. Really spacey... feels like your floating through space or watching some black and white noir movie. I'm trying to find more stuff like this, because I think i'm going in this direction in my sets, really spacey...

so everyone's putting up their dj sites haha but ya i like way out west and the remixes they've done.

Cool, I like flordia/electro breaks too. I enjoy DJ Baby Anne's sets, and i've heard a little bit of Icey. But i'm looking for spacey stuff, with melodies and passion and even some "breakdowns" like "The French Don't Cry". The Emissary's "Ghostwalker" and "Anathema" also has some of these qualities, they are quite melodic and a bit spacey. Derek Howell has some stuff like this too, esp "Western High".

Haha they aren't exactly "underground", quite mainstream, they tour all over the country, and are quite well known, even amongst those who are not into breakbeat. But i'de rather keep this thread on progressive breaks, as they are much more like trance then the other stuff, like flordia/electro breaks.

Hmmm haven't heard those but they don't sound like they would be "progressive breaks", i'm not looking for just any breakbeat music. Just looking to be introduced to some more artists and tunes that sound like "The French Don't Cry" or "Ghostwalker" or some of the others I mentioned. I guess not "full on" rave or big club stuff, just looking to get up a collection of deep, spacey, melodic and a bit "ethereal" progressive breaks stuff on MP3/Wav. Another example would be Ray & Peter's "Sonic Alchemy" love this tune...
