Personaly I don't mind China and it's "communism" ( which today is getting pretty mild ).
Shanghai is quite a vibrant city :)
There are tons of expats in many of the larger cities in China nowdays.
But that is a whole different subject :p |

i don't think it's a rule as such that the people who support the idea live in the same country, or even continent, as long as they: have lived there, were born there, are of that descent, or plan on visiting/moving there sometime.
at least that was the case with the Finland subforum, if i remember correctly.
as long as you get a specified number of votes, thereby showing support, the forum should be created.
you have my vote + i'm willing to relocate back to shanghai if that would further aid you in the creation of this forum.

you'd be amazed at how more accessible Shanghai seems to be than those two cities.

thats why i posted this on another forum.
anywhoo, like jdat said what we need is more interest. this thread is for ppl who are interested in having a asian forum of our own to discuss clubs and places we know, get to know new places and parties and meet up and stuff. i saw the other regional forums and i feel it would be fun to have something like this in the place we live in.
so let's see how many ppl live in asia and are interested in this and see if we can speed up the process that is bound to happen anyway (seeing as how asia is growing) :) |
The mod that moved the thread is me and music discussion is clearly the wrong forum to have placed this thread into.
At least in here you are getting a few constructive replies where as in MD it would have been ignored.
It is up to you to contact other members that may be up for this regional forum, once you have the required numbers then post in site suggestions and get the other members who want the forum to post too. |
