Why I like trance?
Bc of the way it makes me feel on the inside. The way it lifts up my soul. The way I feel when I hear it... how great I feel when I am able to share a great trance experience w/ friends.

Exactly! You feel the music, it's just something so indescribable ... no other style of music does this for me.
My best explanation is the music take me on a journey mentally, emotionally, physically.
It's a perfect outlet of imagination, and almost an aural form of meditation for me.
For me, it's on par with classical music, and although many may disagree, I find trance to be the modern equivalent of classical music. |

Trance is considered the "deepest" and most emotional genre of music out there, and even many house fans will agree with that. I haven't heard too many house fans saying how emotional or deeply moving and influential house music is. I mean the realyl big house freaks probably say that, but most house fans I've talked to generally don't talk about house with regards to such characteristics.
I have nothing against house, and there is of course the ubiquous blurring of lines in modern electronic music, with trance and house fusing together in what we call progressive, as well as tech-house. I actually like modern house, thanks to all of the disco elements, and some trance elements being used within it. Classic house I was never really a big fan of; it's too simplistic and barren for me. |
