21+ implies a much older crowd?

Hey I got a question
You know how some clubs have 18+ "college" nights on certain nights, and are 21+ on other nights.
Well, does the 21+ limit actually imply a significantly older crowd? In other words, are there pretty few people who are in their early 20s? Also, does it make sense to expect that 21+ club crowds are smaller in size than 18+ crowds?
I'm asking because even though I'm over 21 (25) I often go to 18+ nights because I like crowded dancefloors and lots of dancing. |

Ok, look at the obvious...
if you go to an 18+ college night crowd, expect to see a bunch of drunk retards, a bunch of fights, drunk idiots walking around harassing and groping girls.
At the 21+ nights, that happens alot less and people can normally behave while drunk and can hold their liquor. |

Given the same dj and venue, moving from an 18+ to a 21+ event doesn't really change the makeup of the 21+ crowd. It's pretty much the same people without the youngins.
For a typical Sander event, going 21+ will mean more space on the dancefloor but for something special like sasha and digweed it'll be packed no matter what age group is targeted. |

haha im 17 ,I was @ pvd ,it was 21 + and damm I didnt see alot of drunks I saw ALOT of people flying on something lol :crazy: most of people where going crazy it was sickk , but i didnt see any fights maybe your right on that 1 :D |

*sigh*... You're right on that one. Not being 21, it's damn difficult for me to get into 21+ events, and greasing the bouncers is usually not worth it. I've argued ad infinitum on these boards regarding the 21+ parties, and I still don't think that they're in the true spirit of dance music. But, I must say, the drunken guidos really really get to me... |
